Dheeraj Khatore has been appointed as Regional CEO – MENA at AACI America, (American Accreditation Commission International). In this role, he will lead AACI’s growth strategy across the Middle East and North Africa region, focusing on strengthening healthcare quality frameworks, patient safety standards, and accreditation excellence.
In addition to this new responsibility, Dheeraj serves as Chief Executive Officer and Vice-President of AACI India & Africa, Member of the Board of Directors at AACI America, and Managing Director – India at Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA). He has played a key role in expanding healthcare accreditation programs and supporting organizations in achieving international standards of clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Dheeraj also holds leadership positions as Chief Information Officer at Emerge Smart Health and Chief Executive Officer at Emerge Medical Travel USA, where he drives initiatives in healthcare technology, digital transformation, medical tourism, and operational excellence. His efforts have helped organizations leverage innovation to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
With leadership experience spanning AACI, GHA, Emerge Smart Health, Emerge Medical Travel USA, Medicotec, BIAnalyt MiddleEast Solutions Technology, Liwa College, Department of Health Abu Dhabi, and Abu Dhabi Police, Dheeraj brings deep expertise in healthcare accreditation, digital health, emergency medical services, and quality assurance. His appointment reflects AACI’s confidence in his ability to advance healthcare transformation and strengthen accreditation standards across the MENA region.
Dheeraj holds executive credentials in Organizational Leadership from Cornell University, a Postgraduate Degree in Digital Health from the Indian Institute of Management Raipur, and has pursued a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from Universidad de Alcalá. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Calicut and a Certificate in Paramedic Practice from Crowder College, USA.
