Rahul Gupta has been appointed as Executive Director at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, where he will lead the firm’s Digital Government practice. In this leadership role, he will spearhead digital transformation initiatives, drive business growth, and advise Central and State Governments, Public Sector Enterprises, and other public sector organizations on technology-led transformation, innovation, and citizen-centric digital ecosystems.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, Rahul served as Director at EY, leading technology initiatives for government, aerospace, and defence clients within the Government and Public Sector practice. Before that, he held consulting and leadership roles at PwC India, where he delivered strategic technology and digital transformation programmes for central and state governments, public sector enterprises, and donor agencies. He began his consulting career at Infosys, managing business analysis, enterprise transformation, and project management engagements across large-scale government initiatives.
With more than 13 years of experience in technology consulting and digital transformation, Rahul has built deep expertise across digital strategy, enterprise architecture, artificial intelligence, data analytics, ERP modernization, cloud transformation, cybersecurity, programme management, and technology-enabled governance. His work has supported multiple government departments, defence services, regulatory bodies, and public sector organizations through complex transformation programmes.
At Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, Rahul will focus on strengthening the firm’s Digital Government practice by helping public sector organizations accelerate digital adoption, modernize technology ecosystems, and deliver secure, future-ready, and citizen-focused digital services. His appointment reinforces the firm’s commitment to advancing technology-led governance and public sector innovation.
