Dr Manjari Priya Gupta has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at IGEN World – Viksit Bharat 2047, supported by the Government of India. In her new leadership role, she will be responsible for driving operational excellence, strategic execution, organizational growth, and collaborative initiatives that support IGEN’s vision of contributing to the Viksit Bharat 2047 mission. Her appointment reflects the organization’s commitment to strengthening leadership with experienced professionals who bring expertise across technology, banking, governance, and business transformation.
Alongside her new role at IGEN World, Dr Gupta also serves as Brand Director at INKI Pehchhan – NGO. Earlier, she was a Board & Jury Member at Womenians Empowerment Foundation and CXO Gateway, contributing to leadership, innovation, and industry recognition initiatives. Prior to joining IGEN, she built an extensive leadership career at FIS, where she served as Director – Presales APAC and Director – Presales South Asia & India, leading enterprise banking solutions, presales strategy, customer engagement, and business transformation across the Asia-Pacific region.
Earlier in her career, Dr Gupta spent nearly six years at Credit Suisse, progressing through the roles of AVP – India BE Lead – FLEX, Global Project BE Lead – Market Risk Dashboard, India IT BE Lead – Model Risk Management, and CRO IT Project Head APAC, leading large-scale banking technology, market risk, model risk governance, product ownership, and digital transformation initiatives. She also held multiple positions at FIS as Senior Business System Analyst and Pre Sales, Trainer & Lead System Business Analyst, before moving to Sonata Software as Senior Consultant, St. George Bank as Credit and Collections Analyst, and ING Vysya Bank (now Kotak Mahindra Bank) as Manager – Credit Risk Management Department, where she developed deep expertise in banking operations, credit risk, compliance, product management, business analysis, and enterprise technology.
With leadership experience spanning banking, financial technology, risk management, enterprise transformation, presales, governance, and strategic operations, Dr Manjari Priya Gupta brings a unique blend of business and technology expertise to IGEN.
