Shri Suresh Khatanhar has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer at Areion Group, where he will lead the organization’s strategic vision, business transformation, governance, and long-term growth initiatives. With over four decades of leadership experience across India’s banking and financial services sector, he brings extensive expertise in corporate banking, treasury, risk management, governance, and operational excellence. His appointment marks an important milestone, as Areion Group strengthens its leadership for its next phase of growth.
Prior to joining Areion Group, Shri Khatanhar served as Deputy Managing Director at IDBI Bank, leading key functions including Corporate & Retail Banking, Treasury, Risk Management, Government Business, Audit, Legal, and Governance.
During his tenure at IDBI Bank he also chaired the Boards of IDBI Intech LTD, IDBI MF Trustee Company Limited and several other Boards of assisted corporates of the Bank, as Nominee Director, contributing to strategic growth and organizational profitability.
