Prior to this elevation, Sharmistha served as Assistant Vice President – Strategic Alliance and Business Development and AVP – Operations Broca at Axis Max Life Insurance, where she played a key role in expanding strategic partnerships and strengthening business development initiatives. Before joining the organization, she headed strategic alliances at Reliance Capital and led business development at Reliance Securities, driving distribution expansion and revenue growth through banking and fintech partnerships.
Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Sanmarg Media, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Standard Chartered Bank, building over two decades of expertise in wealth management, retail banking, strategic alliances, business development, sales leadership, operations, and customer relationship management.
