Archana Subramanya has been appointed as Head of R&D India Hub at Sanofi. In this strategic leadership role, she will lead the R&D Hyderabad Hub, establish team structures and operational frameworks, and drive operational excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement across Sanofi’s global R&D community.
Archana brings over 25 years of leadership experience in global drug development, with deep expertise spanning regulatory affairs, clinical development, clinical project management, and clinical data management across the pharmaceutical and vaccine industries. Her extensive experience in building high-performing global organizations and driving large-scale transformation positions her to lead Sanofi’s expanding R&D capabilities in India.
Prior to joining Sanofi, Archana served as Head of Global Regulatory Centers at GSK, where she led and scaled multi-country capability centers across India, Poland, Egypt, and Mexico. She was instrumental in strengthening global regulatory operations, driving operational excellence, establishing robust governance frameworks, and leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enhanced quality, efficiency, and organizational capability.
