Dr Amit Nagpal (PhD) has built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades across personal branding, strategic storytelling, education, mentoring and boardroom readiness. Known for his work in Boardroom Branding, Strategic Narrative and Director Readiness, he helps CXOs, founders, independent directors, and thought leaders transform their professional journeys into compelling narratives that build visibility, credibility and influence. He is the Founder & CEO of “Your Board Profile” and also serves as a Board Faculty & Columnist with Board Stewardship Mumbai, where he is a founding team member and faculty member for the Co-Elevate program.
A seasoned public speaker, educator and bestselling author, Dr. Amit has delivered sessions and training programmes for organisations and institutions including IIMs, Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Accenture, Tata Communications, ICF (International Coaching Federation) and several industry associations and educational institutions. He has authored and co-authored seven globally available books, including Mastering Leadership, Governance and Strategic Storytelling, Personal Branding, Storytelling & Beyond, Sheroes Amongst Us, Heroes Amongst Us and Digital Transformation – A Playbook for Board Leaders and C-Suite. His earlier career also includes leadership roles at Wigan & Leigh College, Sri Aurobindo Centre for Arts & Communication, ICFAI University, Sahara Samay, and SAGE Publications India, along with internships at Mondelēz International and Maruti Suzuki India Limited.
Alongside his branding and boardroom work, Dr. Amit is a Personal Branding & Storytelling Coach, mentoring CXOs and founders as well as guiding students from leading institutions. As Professor of Practice – Business Storytelling at Masters’ Union, and Mentor at Mentor Union, he mentors MBA students in business and data storytelling. He has mentored students from IIMs, IIFT, MDI Gurgaon, BIMTECH, WeSchool, SOM-IIT Delhi, IIT Madras and several other leading institutions. He also serves on the Advisory Board of NASSCOM Insights and as President & Chief Community Officer at Bloggers Alliance, contributing to communities focused on technology, leadership and governance.
