Anantha Padmanaban N has been appointed as Vice President – Lean Digital Transformation – Retail at Genpact, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues to strengthen its capabilities in enterprise transformation, digital innovation, and AI-driven business solutions across finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and other corporate functions. A Chartered Accountant and enterprise transformation executive, Anantha brings over two decades of experience in global governance, business transformation, and strategic leadership. His appointment underscores Genpact’s commitment to driving intelligent transformation across the retail sector through digital and data-led innovation.
With more than 20 years of leadership experience, Anantha has built a distinguished career at the intersection of corporate functions and advanced data science. Complementing his deep expertise with a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, he has established himself as a strategic leader capable of bridging enterprise transformation across finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and other corporate functions with next-generation cognitive computing for Global Capability Centers (GCCs) and Tier-1 consulting organizations. His expertise spans enterprise transformation, lean operations, digital strategy, governance, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.
Before joining Genpact, Anantha held leadership positions at HCL Technologies, DIAGEO India, Bosch India, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Private Limited, and Deloitte, where he led large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives, strengthened governance frameworks, and delivered operational excellence across global enterprises. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations modernize finance, HR, supply chain, procurement, and other corporate functions, optimize business processes, and harness emerging technologies to improve decision-making and enterprise performance.
In his new role as Vice President – Lean Digital Transformation – Retail, Anantha is expected to lead strategic transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and accelerate digital innovation for retail clients.
