Debasmita Ghosh Joins JioHotstar Network as VP – Agency Relations

Debasmita Ghosh steps into her new role as Vice President – Agency Relations at JioHotstar Network, bringing with her two decades of rich experience across digital sales, strategic alliances, agency partnerships, and monetisation across OTT, CTV, and mobile ecosystems. Renowned for building high-performing revenue teams and for her deep network across agencies and marketers, she now takes on a pivotal position at a time when JioStar is strengthening its digital leadership and market presence.

Prior to joining JioStar Network, Debasmita served as Director – Head of Agency Relations at Disney+ Hotstar, where she led a high-impact sales organisation responsible for driving growth across enterprise agencies, mid-market partners, and over 500+ SMB agencies. Her leadership played a critical role in shaping platform narratives for digital, content, and impact solutions across the expansive Disney library, while forging strategic relationships with CXOs and industry influencers.

Before Disney+ Hotstar, Debasmita contributed significantly to the growth of ShareChat and Moj, where she managed digital monetisation, agency engagement, and revenue strategy during an important phase in India’s short-video ecosystem. Her earlier journey includes serving as Account Director & South Lead for Twitter India (via Httpool), Vice President – Corporate Sales at Vyoma Technologies, and key sales and alliances roles at India Today. Across these organisations, she built a reputation for driving new business, nurturing strategic alliances, and delivering consistent revenue outcomes.

Debasmita’s strengths lie in leading large, diverse teams, managing agency ecosystems at scale, and crafting integrated digital solutions that deliver measurable value for brands. Her ability to pair strategic thinking with relationship-driven execution has made her a trusted partner across agencies, advertisers, and media organisations.

With her joining, JioStar Network gains a dynamic digital sales leader whose experience spans some of India’s largest media and technology platforms.
