Pankaj Soni has been appointed as Project Head at Holcim, marking a significant step forward in his career spanning over 12 years across project management, engineering execution, and mechanical maintenance. Based in Shillong, Meghalaya, Pankaj will lead critical project initiatives, supporting Holcim’s operational excellence and long-term growth agenda in the manufacturing and construction ecosystem.
A PMP®-certified professional, Pankaj brings strong expertise in program and project management, project portfolio governance, and multidisciplinary team leadership. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, quality compliance, and alignment with business objectives across complex project environments.
Prior to joining Holcim, Pankaj served as Project Manager at BOE Consulting LLP, where he successfully led projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement. His role involved developing detailed project plans, monitoring performance metrics, and delivering high-impact outcomes while navigating operational complexity in dynamic consulting environments.
Earlier in his career, Pankaj spent over eight years with UltraTech Cement, holding progressive roles including Section Head – Pyro. During this tenure, he gained deep hands-on experience in Mechanical maintenance planning, Project planning, execution, and engineering change management—building a strong foundation in large-scale manufacturing operations.
