Pramod Barge has been appointed as Director – Operations, India at KraftPowercon, bringing with him over 22 years of extensive experience in global manufacturing, multi-plant operations, and execution-led operational leadership. In his new role, he is responsible for leading KraftPowercon’s India operations with end-to-end accountability across manufacturing, supply chain, quality, planning, and operational governance, aligned with the organization’s global operating standards.
Based in Maharashtra, Pramod plays a pivotal role in strengthening execution excellence, delivery reliability, cost competitiveness, and scalability across multiple manufacturing locations. He works closely with global stakeholders to translate long-term strategy into disciplined, high-impact operational outcomes, supporting KraftPowercon’s growth ambitions in power, energy, and industrial solutions.
Prior to joining KraftPowercon, Pramod served as Head of Operations at Benninger Group, a Swiss multinational, where he led end-to-end supply chain operations and drove productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives. His leadership resulted in a 25% productivity improvement, successful localization of European technologies, and the implementation of KPI-driven performance systems to build future-ready teams.
His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at thyssenkrupp Industries India, where he handled manufacturing, process planning, continuous improvement, and business development, winning national and international Kaizen awards. He also spent over five years with Godrej & Boyce, where he was recognized as an outstanding performer and promoted as the youngest Deputy Manager, contributing significantly to cycle-time reduction, process innovation, and large-scale machining excellence.
