Rahul Agarwal has been appointed as Vice President – Head of Technology at MakeMyTrip Group, strengthening the company’s leadership as it accelerates technology-led growth across its travel ecosystem. In this role, Rahul will oversee enterprise technology across MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, RedBus, and other group entities, leading ERP, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Platforms.
Based in India, Rahul will be responsible for aligning IT strategy and delivery across cloud platforms to support scalability, innovation, and operational excellence. His mandate includes driving enterprise modernization, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring seamless technology integration to enhance customer experience and business performance.
Rahul brings over 17 years of experience across IT strategy, ERP transformation, supply chain digitization, and large-scale enterprise programs. Prior to his appointment at MakeMyTrip, he held senior leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, where he served as Head of Centre of Excellence for Supply Chain and ERP, leading nationwide and global initiatives across automation, AI/ML use cases, Warehouse and logistics automation and enterprise platforms.
Earlier in his career, Rahul worked with The Coca-Cola Company as IT Strategy and Business Partner for Supply Chain and Director ERP, and with KPMG and Deloitte, delivering complex Oracle Cloud–based transformation programs. He also spent over seven years at Polycab, heading ERP and enterprise applications, building a strong foundation in manufacturing and enterprise systems.
Rahul’s appointment reflects MakeMyTrip Group’s focus on strengthening its technology backbone and future-ready platforms. His blend of consulting and industry experience positions him well to drive innovation, efficiency, and sustained growth across the group’s digital landscape.
