Sandeep Mandot has joined Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd. (SCIL) as the Global EHS Head. Bringing with him over 27 years of rich experience in the Chemical and Pharmaceutical industries, Sandeep is widely recognized for his deep expertise in Workplace and Process Safety Management, Risk Management, Environmental Sustainability, Responsible Care, Incident Investigation and Emergency Preparedness
Before joining SCIL, he held key EHS leadership positions at Wockhardt, Jubilant Organosys,PI Industries, and, most recently, Navin Fluorine International Limited, where he served as Vice President – Corporate Head EHS & Sustainability. Throughout his career, he has led critical, award-winning EHS transformations, implemented ESG frameworks, and represented his organizations as a speaker and panellist at several leading industry forums. His industry reputation is marked by a strong focus on integrating safety culture with business objectives.
Sandeep is a Chemical Engineering graduate from NIT Surathkal and holds Post Graduate Diplomas in Industrial Safety and Environmental Technology. He has also completed several advanced certifications, including Functional Safety Engineer from TÜV Rheinland, ESG from IIM Mumbai, and an Executive Leadership Program from IIM Udaipur—equipping him with a strong blend of technical depth and strategic insight.
In his new role at Sudarshan Chemical Industries Ltd., he will lead the integrated EHS function across global manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards, while reinforcing the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship, occupational health, and sustainable growth.
