Amol Bhalerao has been appointed as General Manager – Operations at Hyosung T&D Pvt. Ltd, Pune, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team. In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing operational excellence, driving efficiency across projects, and strengthening the company’s capabilities in delivering advanced power and transmission solutions.
Amol brings with him significant years of experience in the power and electrical equipment industry, with deep expertise in high-voltage systems, manufacturing operations, and large-scale project execution. His appointment is expected to further enhance Hyosung T&D’s operational strength as the company continues to expand its footprint in India’s evolving energy infrastructure landscape.
Prior to joining Hyosung T&D, Amol Bhalerao held key leadership positions at Siemens, where he served as Operations Head – HV GIS at Siemens Aurangabad. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in managing high-voltage gas-insulated switchgear operations, streamlining manufacturing processes, and ensuring delivery excellence in complex engineering environments.
He also served as Head of Quality at Siemens, contributing to enhancing quality culture and elevation of quality standards at par with global level. Earlier in his career, Amol was associated with Sterlite Power as Associate General Manager Quality, where he gained valuable experience in the power transmission domain and helped build a strong Quality culture.
With his proven track record in operational leadership and domain expertise, Amol Bhalerao’s appointment is set to play a key role in supporting Hyosung T&D’s growth ambitions and strengthening its position in India’s power transmission and distribution sector.
