Ashish Rai has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer – Decorative Paints at JSW Paints. In his new role, Ashish takes on full P&L responsibility for the decorative paints business, steering strategic growth and market leadership for the brand in one of India’s most competitive segments.
Ashish joined JSW Paints as Chief Business Officer and quickly rose to helm the division, building on his stellar career of over two decades across top FMCG and consumer brands. Prior to JSW, he spent 18+ years at Unilever, where he held global and regional leadership roles including Managing Director at Unilever Nepal, Global VP – Distributive Trade & B2B E-commerce, and Head of Rural Business.
An alumnus of Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Ashish is widely recognized for driving large-scale transformation, commercial excellence, and digital innovation. His appointment signals JSW Paints’ ambition to accelerate its growth and deepen its footprint in the Indian decorative paints market.
