Balakrishnan Mahadevan has been appointed as the Asia Pacific Executive Director – Finance at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). Based in Mumbai, he now leads financial planning and commercial finance for the APAC region, overseeing performance strategy and driving operational excellence across markets.
Balakrishnan’s journey with BCG spans over eight years, during which he has held several strategic leadership positions including Senior Director – FP&A & Commercial Excellence and Regional Finance Director. His deep expertise in corporate finance, strategic planning, and stakeholder management has played a pivotal role in elevating BCG’s regional financial operations.
Prior to joining BCG, he spent 13 years at Accenture, where he served in diverse finance leadership roles across V&A, consulting, and regional strategy. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, Balakrishnan is known for his analytical acumen and strong leadership in managing high-impact, cross-functional finance initiatives.
His new role marks a significant milestone as BCG continues to strengthen its financial stewardship across the dynamic Asia Pacific region.
