Dr. Sudhir Gupta has been appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Alfred H Knight India Private Limited. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry, Dr. Gupta brings with him deep strategic insight and a strong track record in business transformation, operations, and market expansion across India and global regions.
Prior to joining Alfred H Knight, Dr. Gupta held senior leadership roles at Cotecna Inspection and SGS, where he was instrumental in scaling business operations across South Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Most recently, he served as a senior consultant and was part of strategic advisory roles in the TIC sector. His experience includes overseeing multi-country operations, leading M&A initiatives, and driving innovation-led growth.
With a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the National Dairy Research Institute and extensive exposure across sectors including agriculture, food, inspection, and quality assurance, Dr. Gupta is expected to play a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening Alfred H Knight’s footprint in India. His appointment signals a new phase of growth and commitment by the global group to expand its presence in the Indian subcontinent.
