Vinod Subramanian has embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey as Co-Founder & CEO of Woven, a venture aimed at redefining how organizations approach talent, workforce strategy, and transformation. Based in Mumbai, Vinod’s latest move builds on over two decades of leadership experience across recruitment process outsourcing (RPO), talent strategy, and large-scale people operations.
Prior to founding Woven, Vinod served as Managing Director – India at AMS, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s India footprint and strengthening its strategic partnerships. His tenure at AMS was preceded by a remarkable 14-year journey with FlexAbility, where he rose through the ranks from Director – FlexAbility RPO to Chief Operations Officer, Chief Executive Officer, and eventually Managing Director. Under his leadership, FlexAbility evolved into a trusted RPO partner, delivering innovative and client-centric talent solutions across industries.
FlexAbility, a subsidiary of ABC Consultants, operated in exclusive strategic partnership with AMS, drawing on global best practices to serve clients across geographies. During this phase, Vinod led large, multi-city teams, scaled service lines across RPO, resource augmentation, and project hiring, and helped organizations transform their employee lifecycle strategies with technology-enabled and process-driven solutions.
Earlier in his career, Vinod held leadership roles at Credit Suisse, where he headed lateral recruitment under an RPO delivery model, and at ABC Consultants, focusing on middle and senior-level hiring in the investment banking KPO sector. He also served as an AGM at Magna Services India Pvt. Ltd., managing cross-industry recruitment mandates before beginning his professional journey with the Indian Navy as a Lieutenant in Air Traffic Control. During his seven-year naval tenure in Goa, he managed airspace operations, radar systems, infrastructure projects, and large teams—an experience that shaped his disciplined and execution-focused leadership style.
