Krishna K. Mishra has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Varindera Constructions Limited, marking a pivotal leadership addition as the organisation strengthens its financial and governance framework. In this role, he will oversee finance, treasury, taxation, and the secretarial function, with a clear mandate to enhance financial discipline, strengthen compliance rigor, and institutionalise robust governance practices across the organisation.
As CFO, Krishna will play a central role in aligning financial strategy with Varindera Constructions’ long-term business vision. A key focus of his mandate will be preparing the company for its future transition into a listed entity, including readiness across statutory reporting, capital structure planning, internal controls, and investor-grade governance frameworks. His leadership is expected to bring greater transparency, predictability, and resilience to the company’s financial operations.
Krishna brings over two decades of deep finance and infrastructure sector experience, joining Varindera Constructions Limited from Tata Projects, where he served as Assistant Vice President – Finance & Accounts. In this role, he led P&L strategy for business group revenues exceeding ₹6,000 crore, designed and implemented ERP-integrated financial systems, and strengthened internal control mechanisms to support large, complex project portfolios.
During his tenure at Tata Projects, Krishna was instrumental in ensuring full compliance with Ind AS, taxation frameworks, statutory audits, and regulatory requirements, while also partnering closely with business leadership on financial planning, cost governance, and performance management. His ability to combine operational finance leadership with strategic foresight enabled sustained financial stability and execution excellence across high-value infrastructure programs.
Earlier in his career, Krishna spent nearly 18 years at Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited, where he built strong credentials in finance leadership across large-scale infrastructure and EPC projects. His extensive exposure to corporate governance, stakeholder management, audit oversight, and long-horizon capital planning positions him well to support Varindera Constructions Limited’s growth ambitions. His appointment reflects the company’s confidence in his ability to steer financial transformation and enable a successful capital markets journey.
