Mayank Goel, a seasoned finance professional and trusted business partner, has taken on the role of Chief Financial Officer at Skechers South Asia Pvt. Ltd. In this capacity, he leads the Finance, Legal, and Administration functions, supporting one of the world’s largest sports footwear brands as it accelerates growth in India. With over 450 exclusive brand outlets, a strong distributor network, and a rapidly expanding e-commerce channel, Mayank plays a pivotal role in strengthening governance, financial discipline, and scalable growth for the organization.
Bringing deep expertise across Retail, B2B, Distribution, and Manufacturing, Mayank has worked across three countries, managing large, cross-cultural teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems. His experience includes ERP implementations, setting up shared service centers, business restructuring, governance frameworks, and efficient management of large credit lines, alongside monetizing non-core assets to unlock value. His ability to blend strategic finance with operational execution has consistently enabled business transformation.
Prior to Skechers, Mayank served as CFO at Aqualite India and held senior leadership roles within the Bata Group, including Regional Finance Director for Africa & the Middle East and Finance Director at Bata Shoe Kenya. In these roles, he partnered closely with regional presidents and group CFOs, led finance and IT functions, supported large manufacturing and retail operations, and served as a Board member for Bata Kenya and Bata Uganda. His tenure included steering multi-country operations, piloting ERP rollouts, and supporting strategic market re-entry initiatives.
A Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Mayank’s career foundation was built at Ernst & Young, where he spent over a decade across audit, IFRS, US GAAP, and capital markets. His appointment at Skechers South Asia underscores the company’s focus on strong financial leadership, disciplined expansion, and long-term value creation in one of its fastest-growing global markets.
