Pawan Prasad Srivastava, a seasoned HR leader with nearly 16 years of extensive experience in HR operations and strategy, has taken on the role of Group Head – HR & Administration (Senior Vice President) at BDR Pharmaceuticals. In this leadership position, he heads the entire HR and administrative function for the BDR Group of Companies, driving people strategy, governance, and organizational effectiveness for one of India’s growing pharmaceutical groups.
An alumnus of XLRI Jamshedpur, Pawan brings deep expertise in organizational strategy, employee engagement, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and HR transformation. Known for institutionalizing sustainable HR policies, he has consistently focused on building high-morale, low-attrition, and high-performance teams. His strengths lie in aligning HR strategy with business goals, optimizing manpower utilization, and leading large, multi-skilled HR teams across complex organizations.
Before BDR Pharmaceuticals, Pawan spent over nine years at Lupin, where he held multiple senior leadership roles, including Deputy General Manager – Global Talent Management & Leadership Development CoE and Head Office HR Lead. During his tenure, he spearheaded PAN-India HR operations, compensation & benefits, HR digitization initiatives, leadership development frameworks, succession planning, and large-scale transformation programs in collaboration with firms such as McKinsey, Deloitte, and BCG. He also played a key role in resolving complex IR matters, managing statutory compliance across plants, and supporting major organizational restructuring initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Pawan held HR leadership roles at Videocon Industries, Regal Beloit (GE), Religare Securities, LG Electronics, and Coca-Cola India, gaining rich exposure across manufacturing, R&D, sales HR, and corporate HR environments. His journey reflects a rare blend of strategic vision, operational depth, and people-centric leadership, positioning him as a strong driver of culture, capability building, and long-term organizational growth at BDR Pharmaceuticals.
