Sunstream Green Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitish Somani as Chief Financial Officer. Mitish joins with close to three decades of raising and managing capital for large energy and infrastructure businesses. He will lead Sunstream’s financial strategy, capital planning, and fundraising as the company scales its renewable energy platform.
Mitish is a Chartered Accountant with deep expertise in corporate and project finance, private equity, and stakeholder management. He was most recently Director Finance at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, a leading Denmark-based renewable energy investment fund, where he managed finance for the fund’s India operations. He has also held senior finance leadership roles at Avaada Group, Thermax Limited, and Essar Group. Across these roles, he has raised and structured capital exceeding Rs 18,000 crores for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects.
