Chirag Mehta has been appointed as Executive Director at Eris Lifesciences, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience across healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, M&A, strategy, legal, IT and global business operations. His appointment marks a significant addition to Eris Lifesciences’ leadership team as he brings a strong combination of financial expertise and strategic business perspective.
Prior to joining Eris Lifesciences, Chirag served as Chief Financial Officer and Head – Legal & IT, BSvBio MD, Head of Global Access and Policy at Bharat Serums and Vaccines Limited. Before this, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Biological E. Ltd., following his leadership roles at Cipla Ltd. as CFO – International and Head – Business Finance and M&A.
Earlier in his career, Chirag served as Chief Financial Officer at Maneesh Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Head – Strategic Planning and Development at Intas Biopharmaceuticals Ltd. He began his investment banking journey with Morgan Stanley, where he served as Head of M&A, building deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, financial strategy and business development.
With a career spanning strategic finance, M&A, corporate leadership and the pharmaceutical industry, Chirag brings a broad business lens to his new role at Eris Lifesciences. His experience across leading healthcare and financial institutions positions him to contribute meaningfully to the company’s strategic growth and long-term value creation.
