Renowned for his work with challenger brands across diverse product categories, Uday has built a distinguished career in agencies and corporate houses in India and Sri Lanka. His extensive experience in consumer research and strategic planning positions him to lead the network’s operational excellence and innovation agenda.
Uday’s association with Havas Media Group spans an impressive 14 years, marked by a steady rise through leadership roles including Managing Director, President & Chief Client Officer, President (North & West), Managing Partner, Executive Director, and Vice President. His contributions have been instrumental in strengthening Havas Media Network India’s market presence and fostering strong client partnerships. This elevation to COO reflects his consistent performance and visionary leadership in navigating the evolving media landscape.
Prior to his tenure at Havas, Uday gained invaluable experience at MPG as General Manager and Senior Media Director, at Madison Communications as Business Director, and at McCann as Media Director. His corporate exposure includes a significant role with the Tata Group, where he contributed to central buying for all group companies before moving to Tata AIG Life Insurance. He also served at TBWA\India in senior media roles and began his career at Leo Burnett as a Media Planner.
