Dhanveer Singh Yadav has been appointed as Assistant Vice President – Branch Manager at AU Small Finance Bank, marking a significant milestone in his banking career. In his new role, he will lead and manage a ₹200+ crore business branch, driving growth across CASA, retail banking, and digital banking adoption, while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a superior customer experience.
With a strong focus on profitability and performance, Dhanveer will be responsible for executing branch-level business strategies aimed at liability growth, yield optimization, and portfolio quality. His mandate also includes strengthening the CASA franchise by acquiring high-quality retail customers, SMEs, and local businesses through relationship-driven banking and targeted acquisition initiatives. Additionally, he will play a key role in enhancing fee-based income through structured cross-selling of insurance, investment, and financial products.
Prior to this appointment, Dhanveer was associated with HDFC Bank, where he held multiple roles spanning branch management, digital transformation consulting, and product ownership within the BFSI domain. During his tenure, he led several digital innovation initiatives, including automation of customer journeys, KYC process optimization, and mobile-first banking enhancements such as UPI and WhatsApp banking integration—significantly improving customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Earlier in his career, he gained valuable experience across organizations such as Reliance Jio, Reliance Retail, and Bharat Broadband Network Limited, where he contributed to digital transformation, IT enablement, and operational process improvements across sectors.
