Dr. Khyati Mewada has been elevated to the role of Chief Administrative Officer at Baroda Heart Institute & Research Center (SRKMPL Group), marking another significant milestone in her distinguished career spanning over 15 years in healthcare administration. A seasoned healthcare leader, she brings extensive expertise in business management, corporate affairs, hospital operations, strategic planning, project management, quality assurance, NABH accreditation, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence with cost optimization. Throughout her career, she has consistently driven organizational transformation while strengthening patient-centric healthcare delivery.
Prior to her elevation, Dr. Mewada served as Chief Administrative Officer at Baroda Heart Institute & Research Center, where she played a pivotal role in driving administrative transformation, streamlining operational workflows, and enhancing institutional performance. She successfully led initiatives focused on business management, corporate affairs, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and organizational growth, while ensuring operational excellence through cost optimization and robust quality assurance frameworks aligned with NABH standards.
Before joining Baroda Heart Institute & Research Center, Dr. Mewada served as Head of Unit at ASG Eye Hospital and held key leadership positions as Medical Administrator at AIMS Hospital, Ahmedabad, and Shalby Limited. Earlier in her career, she worked as Clinical Coordinator at Wockhardt Hospitals Ltd., building a strong foundation in multidisciplinary hospital administration, patient safety, and clinical coordination. She has successfully led multiple NABH accreditation and re-accreditation initiatives and spearheaded the execution of Greenfield and Brownfield healthcare projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to establish efficient, compliant, and high-performing healthcare ecosystems.
Widely recognized for her strategic mindset and execution-driven leadership, Dr. Mewada has built strong capabilities across business management, corporate affairs, healthcare infrastructure development, project management, process optimization, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and institutional expansion. Currently pursuing a PhD in Public Health, with a focus on healthcare systems and health outcomes, she continues to strengthen both her academic and professional expertise.
