Gaurav Bansal has been elevated to Senior Director – Marketing & Communications at SHRM India, APAC & MENA, marking a significant milestone in his journey with the organization spanning over three years. With more than two decades of experience across Consulting, Media, IT, and Ed-Tech sectors, Bansal has played an instrumental role in strengthening SHRM’s brand positioning, communication strategy, and regional outreach initiatives.
Over the past three years at SHRM, he has contributed extensively towards driving integrated marketing campaigns, enhancing stakeholder engagement, and strengthening the organization’s presence across India, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. His elevation reflects SHRM’s continued focus on strategic brand leadership and organizational growth across emerging and global markets.
Prior to joining SHRM, Gaurav Bansal served as Chief Marketing Officer at The Princeton Review, where he led strategic marketing initiatives focused on brand growth and learner engagement. Earlier, he was associated with NetCom Learning as Head of Marketing & Technology Innovation, driving digital transformation and innovative marketing campaigns within the professional learning and technology ecosystem.
Throughout his career, Bansal has held leadership positions at organizations including World Trade Center ViridianRED, The Times Of India, CyberMedia, and India Today. Known for his expertise in storytelling, audience engagement, brand strategy, and technology-led marketing, he has consistently championed customer-centric communication and long-term brand value creation.
In his elevated role at SHRM India, APAC & MENA, Bansal will continue leading integrated marketing and communication strategies focused on strengthening regional influence, deepening stakeholder relationships, and supporting SHRM’s broader vision around workplace transformation and the future of work.
