Kiran Punjabi will join British Petroleum (bp) as Senior HR Business Partner on January 5, 2026, marking a significant addition to bp’s global people leadership team. In her new role, Kiran will partner with leaders across geographies to drive the organisation’s people and culture agenda, strengthening alignment between business priorities and human capital strategy at bp.
With rich global HR experience, Kiran Punjabi brings a strong and diverse background spanning the MedTech, Oil & Gas, and Automotive sectors. Over the years, she has worked with leading organisations such as Philips and Valvoline Cummins Ltd., building deep expertise in strategic HR partnering, organisational effectiveness, and leadership development across complex, multi-cultural environments.
Prior to joining British Petroleum (bp), Kiran played a critical role at Philips, where she was closely involved in driving large-scale culture transformation initiatives. Her work at Philips focused on building high-performing teams, strengthening leadership capability, and enabling executive and leadership coaching across multiple geographies, contributing meaningfully to business resilience and long-term growth.
