Nivesh Pandya Appointed as OE Engineering Leader at GKN Aerospace India

Nivesh Pandya has been appointed as OE Engineering Leader at GKN Aerospace India, marking a significant milestone in his global engineering leadership journey. In this role, he will head the OE (Original Equipment) Engineering Department, leading a team of 100+ employees.

With over 18 years of cross-industry experience, Nivesh brings deep expertise in engineering product development, digital transformation, and sustainability-led innovation to one of the world’s leading aerospace organizations.

An alumnus of HEC Paris, Nivesh is widely recognized for building sustainability-first engineering transformation and AI-powered ecosystems that directly connect technology strategy with measurable business performance. His leadership philosophy integrates advanced digital capabilities with operational excellence, ensuring that innovation translates into tangible enterprise value.

Prior to joining GKN Aerospace, Nivesh held multiple strategic leadership roles at Schneider Electric, where he served as General Manager and Global Product Owner for AI-Driven Business Insights & Strategy, as well as General Manager – Design & Engineering in the CTO Office (R&D). His distinguished career also includes impactful tenures at Rolls-Royce, Philips, and GE Renewable Energy, where he contributed to large-scale engineering and digital transformation initiatives across global markets.

Over the years, Nivesh has successfully led global teams of more than 300 engineers while managing multimillion-euro portfolios. By embedding Digital Twin capabilities, PLM modernization, and ESG/net-zero frameworks into core engineering workflows, he has consistently accelerated time-to-market and advanced zero-defect, sustainable product strategies. In his new role, Nivesh Pandya is poised to further strengthen global OE engineering capabilities and scale aerospace innovation across GKN Aerospace’s global ecosystem, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to cutting-edge, sustainable aerospace engineering.
