Alok Sinha has been appointed as Managing Director – Legal, India at FedEx, where he will lead the company’s India legal function and partner closely with business leadership to support strategic growth, governance, and legal excellence across the organization.
Alok joins FedEx from Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL), where he spent over 13 years in progressively senior legal leadership roles. During his tenure, he advanced from Senior Legal Executive to Assistant Legal Manager, Legal Manager, Regional Legal Manager – West India, Senior Legal Counsel & COE Lead, Regional Legal Head – West, and most recently, Regional Legal Head – West, Senior Legal Counsel – Organized Trade & Centre of Excellence. He played a key role in commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, M&A transactions, competition law, legal metrology, data privacy, GST transition, litigation management, and strategic legal initiatives.
Prior to HUL, Alok began his corporate legal career at Jyothy Laboratories, where he handled litigation, product compliance, intellectual property matters, and legal support during the company’s post-merger integration activities.
With over 14 years of legal leadership experience across the FMCG sector, Alok brings strong expertise in corporate law, compliance, regulatory affairs, litigation, and business partnering. His appointment is expected to further strengthen FedEx India’s legal and governance capabilities as the company continues its growth journey.
