Asit Panda has been appointed as Senior Director, HR at Rakuten Symphony, where he will lead people charters for one of the company’s largest business units across India and global markets. In his new role, he will also drive Performance Management, Talent Development, and Employee Engagement initiatives globally, further strengthening Rakuten Symphony’s people and culture strategy.
Asit brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across global enterprises and high-growth organizations. Prior to joining Rakuten Symphony, he served as Director: HR Business Partner (Technology, Product & Data Science) at Flipkart, leading people strategy for Engineering, Product, Tech Platforms, Data Science, IT & Cyber Security, and Product Strategy functions, while also supporting Supply Chain operations across South and East India. Earlier, he held key HR leadership roles at Honeywell and Enercon GmbH, building deep expertise across strategic HR partnering, organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement.
