Chandramiita Sarma Baruah has been appointed as Global Transition and Transformation Lead (Europe and Middle East) at bp, where she takes on a strategic role driving large-scale transformation initiatives across regions. In her current mandate, she is focused on enabling seamless global transitions, strengthening operational frameworks, and leveraging AI-driven learning and transformation models to enhance business outcomes across Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to this, she served at bp as Global Leader – Transition and Transformation (Europe, Middle East and Africa regions). Before joining bp, she was associated with VOIS as Global SAP Service Transition Manager, where she managed end-to-end SAP ERP transitions with zero downtime and full SLA compliance, while also driving global learning and development strategies and AI-enabled executive learning frameworks. Earlier, at Vodafone, she worked as Learning and Development and Transition Manager, leading multiple transition programs across cloud and non-cloud portfolios, improving transition timelines, and driving stakeholder governance at the CXO level.
Her earlier experience includes working with Sears Holdings India as Senior Human Resource Consultant, where she designed impactful learning programs and improved onboarding and compliance processes. She also held the role of Lead Human Resource Analyst at Homeward Residential, Inc., managing large-scale training programs, HRMS implementations, and workforce analytics initiatives. She began her career with WNS Global Services as Human Resources Executive, focusing on employee engagement and HR analytics, and earlier as Business Manager at Ultimate Vacation Pvt. Ltd., where she led sales operations and team performance initiatives.
