Dev Ramchandani has been appointed as Executive Director at Alvarez & Marsal India, marking a new chapter in his career as he continues to champion industrial digital transformation and operational excellence. With more than two decades of experience spanning operations consulting, advanced technologies, and large-scale performance improvement, he brings deep expertise in aligning Operational Technology (OT) with Information Technology (IT) to deliver strategic business value.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Dev played a pivotal role at Hitachi Digital Services for nearly 11 years, where he led the Industry Consulting Practice and Technology & Solutions Office across the APAC region. He began his journey at Hitachi by setting up the Management Consulting practice for APAC and later spearheaded consulting-led industrial digital solutions, enabling clients to innovate and scale their transformation agendas.
Earlier in his career, Dev was associated with McKinsey & Company as a Manufacturing Expert, where he guided global organizations in operational strategy, performance improvements, and leadership effectiveness. His tenure included driving lean manufacturing initiatives, equipment optimization, quality enhancement, and capability-building programs for CXOs and leadership teams. He also contributed significantly at Tata Motors, where he was engaged in the iconic Small Car Project and managed large-scale fabrication operations.
At Alvarez & Marsal India, Dev is expected to leverage his extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience to accelerate next-generation industrial transformations. His mandate will focus on solving complex operational challenges, driving sustainable efficiencies, and helping organizations unlock growth opportunities through the integration of technology and strategy.
