DEK & Mavericks Green Energy Limited has appointed Dr. Srinivasa Venu Uppuluri as Independent Director, further strengthening the company’s leadership and governance capabilities as it accelerates its green energy growth initiatives across India. With over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy and industrial sectors, Dr. Srinivasa brings deep expertise across strategic management, EPC projects, investments, operational leadership, and clean energy transformation.
Throughout his career, Dr. Srinivasa has held several key leadership roles across reputed organizations. Most recently, he has been serving as Advisory Board Member at Maithri Aquatech. Earlier, he served as Vice President & Board Member in Investment Banking firm, Vice President – Strategy & Investments at SB Energy, Vice President & Growth Committee Member at Amara Raja Power Systems, and Vice President – Innovations at Hero Motors. He also served as Business Head & Director on Board at Carraro Group – Santerno India Pvt Ltd and as General Manager & Head at Carraro Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., where he played a significant role in driving business growth and operational excellence within the renewable energy and engineering sectors.
Dr. Srinivasa’s earlier leadership journey includes senior engineering and operational roles at Emerson as Director of Engineering, Tecumseh as Group Leader, and VIP Industries Limited, where he progressed from Management Trainee to Officer and Senior Officer. Over the years, he has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, execution excellence, strategic thinking, and governance-driven leadership across industrial and clean energy ecosystems.
In addition to his extensive professional accomplishments, Dr. Srinivasa holds academic qualifications like Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering and MBA in Human Resource Management. He is an IIM Kozhikode alumnus and is currently pursuing an LL.B. He is also a Chartered Engineer and Fellow Member of The Institution of Engineers (India), bringing a unique blend of technical, operational, legal, and governance perspectives to leadership.
