Karthikeyan Vaidyanathan has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Operations at Maxivision Eye Hospitals, where he will lead operations across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. His appointment marks a significant addition to the organization’s leadership team as it continues to strengthen operational excellence and expand its regional healthcare footprint.
With over 23 years of experience across healthcare operations, strategy, and business transformation, Karthikeyan brings a proven track record of scaling healthcare networks and driving sustainable growth. In his new role, he will focus on operational efficiency, clinical excellence, patient experience enhancement, and business expansion across the region.
Prior to joining Maxivision, he served with Lifenity and Lifenity International Healthcare Services, UK in senior leadership capacities including Additional Director, Director, and Senior Vice President Operations. During his tenure, he led large-scale healthcare transformation initiatives, including the execution of the Mahadialysis Program with 434 dialysis centers across Maharashtra under a public-private partnership model, while also spearheading the development of multi-specialty hospitals across the region.
Earlier in his career, Karthikeyan spent over 13 years with Vasan Eye & Multispeciality as Director of Operations and Business Development, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the healthcare network from 2 to over 196 centers globally across India, UAE, Sri Lanka, and Singapore. His leadership journey also includes banking and relationship management roles at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and ICICI Bank.
