Kota Kalyan Chakravarthy has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Motor at Kshema General Insurance Limited. With over two decades of rich experience in the insurance industry, he has built a strong track record across motor insurance, strategic sales, agency growth, underwriting coordination, dealer partnerships, and multi-channel business development. In his new leadership role, he will be driving the motor insurance business strategy and strengthening market expansion initiatives for the organization.
Prior to joining Kshema General Insurance Limited, he served as National Sales Manager – Prime Agency at Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. He also held key leadership roles at Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Co. Ltd. as State Business Head and Circle Head, where he played a significant role in scaling distribution, driving profitability, and managing regional business growth. Earlier, he worked as Head – Strategic Insurance Business at Relleno Insurance Broking Services Pvt. Ltd., leading channel partnerships, broker relationships, claims handling, and business development initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier in his career, he served as Branch Manager and Senior Manager at IFFCO-TOKIO General Insurance, where he managed large-scale dealer tie-ups, cooperative bank partnerships, branch profitability, satellite office expansion, and corporate client relationships across Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Visakhapatnam regions. He worked as South Head – OEM & Retail Broking in Chola. He began his professional journey with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company as Executive Marketing, where he was responsible for corporate business development, broker management, and brand-building initiatives.
His extensive leadership experience across insurance sales, distribution management, strategic partnerships, and operational excellence positions him strongly for this new responsibility at Kshema General Insurance Limited.
