Neha S. steps into her new role as Executive Vice President & Head of HR, Airtel Business at Bharti Airtel, bringing with her an impressive 17+ year journey shaped entirely within the Bharti ecosystem. Beginning as a Management Trainee in 2007, she has built deep expertise in leading large teams, partnering with business leadership, and steering complex HR transformations across geographies and sectors. Her core strengths span organization design, leadership development, capability building, executive compensation, DEI, and large-scale operations management, making her one of the most experienced HR leaders within the group.
Before taking up the Airtel Business HR mandate, Neha drove transformative people strategies across Market Operations, managing 70,000+ employees (on-roll + off-roll) and leading programs on workforce productivity, sales capability, and diversity. She has also served as Vice President & Corporate Head HR at Bharti Enterprises, partnering directly with the Chairman and Group Directors on talent strategy for telecom, insurance, FMCG, real estate, QSR, and philanthropic entities. Earlier roles at Airtel included Talent, Learning & Culture; Compensation & Benefits; HRBP for Marketing; and HR leadership across emerging businesses like Airtel Money and M-Entertainment. Her foundational experience also includes a stint with IBM UK before her post-graduation. Beyond work, she balances leadership with creativity—being a mother and a lover of design, pottery, and all things beautiful.
