Nipun Bansal has joined Niva Bupa Health Insurance as the Head – Talent Acquisition, bringing with him more than a decade long journey in HR leadership and talent strategy across major banking institutions. His new role marks a strategic step in strengthening Niva Bupa’s talent acquisition function as the company continues its mission to build a future-ready, people-first organization.
Prior to this, Nipun served as Vice President – Talent Acquisition at IDFC FIRST Bank, where he played a pivotal role in the success of the TA Team & drove various key projects of significant importance. He also had a notable tenure at HDFC Bank, where he led talent acquisition for Wholesale, Commercial, and Rural Banking across multiple regions, becoming the youngest supervisor in the talent acquisition team & had various accolades for his stupendous work all across.
With hands-on experience in both strategic and operational aspects of Talent acquisition, Nipun is known for his deep understanding of business alignment and his ability to build strong recruitment frameworks. His track record includes managing large HR teams, driving critical hiring strategies, and creating scalable onboarding models.
On an academic front, Nipun holds a stellar & a very consistent track record. Being an alumnus of University Business School, Panjab University, Chandigarh, he holds MBA specialising in HR prior to which he completed Commerce from GGDSD College, Chandigarh. Nipun brings a blend of academic excellence and practical expertise.
