Nitin Firke brings with him over two decades of multifaceted experience, with more than 15 years dedicated to the insurance and reinsurance sector. Most recently, he served as Chief of Reinsurance at Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited, where he played a pivotal role in scaling the reinsurance vertical, expanding international operations, and driving strategic initiatives aligned with profitability and regulatory compliance. His leadership was instrumental in expanding the firm’s global reinsurance footprint and client base while building long-term partnerships with cedants and reinsurers.
Before his tenure at Mahindra, Nitin held several leadership roles at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Co. Ltd., where he progressed from Area Manager to Vice President over nearly 14 years. Notably, during his stint as Deputy General Manager in Dubai, he spearheaded ICICI Lombard’s MENA operations, overseeing reinsurance programs for Indian multinational corporations and establishing health treaties and global insurance frameworks across the GCC region. His ability to build cross-border capabilities and introduce strategic partnerships significantly contributed to the firm’s international success.
