Puneet Sharma has been appointed as Head of Sales Excellence at Merino Industries, bringing with him over two decades of experience in sales leadership, business development, and strategic account management across the building materials and manufacturing sectors. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening sales processes, driving operational efficiency, and building scalable frameworks to enhance overall sales performance.
Prior to this, Puneet was associated with Hettich India Pvt. Ltd., where he held multiple leadership roles, most recently as Head of National Key Accounts (OEM). During his tenure, he was responsible for managing high-value OEM relationships, driving revenue growth, and developing strategic account plans aligned with business objectives. He also led initiatives around sales support, CRM development, and process digitization, significantly improving sales infrastructure and execution capabilities.
Earlier in his career, Puneet held key positions at AkzoNobel, USG Boral Building Products, and Saint-Gobain, where he built strong expertise in project sales, market expansion, and stakeholder management. His ability to drive growth across OEM, trade, and builder segments has been a consistent highlight of his professional journey.
With a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and implementing data-driven sales strategies, Puneet brings a well-rounded perspective to his new role. His appointment reflects Merino Industries’ focus on strengthening its sales excellence function and accelerating growth through structured processes and customer-centric strategies.
