Shiva Texyarn Limited has appointed G. K. Raman as President – Strategic Affairs. In this strategic leadership role, he will spearhead the Company’s corporate strategy, government and regulatory engagement, institutional partnerships, public policy advocacy, sustainability initiatives, and stakeholder relations. He will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen Shiva Texyarn’s long-term growth agenda and support its expanding presence across technical textiles, defense, industrial applications, and value-added textile solutions.
Mr. Raman brings over 25 years of distinguished experience in corporate affairs, public policy, government relations, regulatory strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Over the course of his career, he has advised Chairpersons, business leaders, and senior executives across diverse industries, working closely with renowned leaders including Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw at Biocon, Shri Hari and Shri Shyam Bhartia of Jubilant Bhartia Group, Shri Sanjay Lalbhai of Arvind Group, and Mr. Anil Rai of IILM University. His expertise lies at the intersection of business and government, helping organizations navigate regulatory landscapes, influence policy, strengthen institutional relationships, and drive sustainable business growth.
Prior to joining Shiva Texyarn Limited, Mr. Raman was the Chief Executive Officer of Kaizan Veda Advisory, a strategy and execution-focused advisory firm helping enterprises and global organizations drive growth, transformation, and India market entry. Earlier, he served as Executive Vice President and Head – Corporate Affairs at Jubilant Ingrevia Limited and as Senior Vice President and Head – Group Corporate Affairs for the Jubilant Bhartia Group, where he led government affairs, public policy, advocacy, communications, and regulatory engagement across multiple group companies
