Sreeji Gopinathan has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Director of Orient Bell Limited for a three-year term from May 2026 to May 2029. He brings more than three decades of experience in technology and digital leadership, with expertise spanning AI/ML-driven analytics, RPA, enterprise BI, applications, infrastructure, and information security.
Since June 2024, Sreeji has also been the Founder & CEO of SKG Advisory, where he advises organisations on business and digital transformation. He is also the Chairman of the CII CDIO Forum, a position he has held since 2024, advises Oorjja, an ecosystem to empower differently abled people and has previously served on the Global Board of Advisors of HPE and CrowdStrike.
Prior to this appointment, Sreeji served as Global Chief Information Officer at Lupin, following senior technology leadership roles at Reckitt, Philips, Procter & Gamble, ISRO, and ABB across India, the UK, and the Netherlands. His career has covered diverse sectors including pharmaceuticals, consumer goods, industrial manufacturing, and technology-led businesses.
Sreeji holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh and a B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from the College of Engineering (CET), Trivandrum. His leadership journey has been recognised through accolades including Top Global CIO100 (Hot Topics) 2023, India CIO100 by IDG, the Global CIO Impact Award by Frost & Sullivan, and the Digital & RPA Icon Awards. His appointment is expected to bring significant technology, digital transformation, and strategic leadership expertise to Orient Bell’s board.
