Sumit Dawar has joined as Co-Head – Private Credit at Godrej Wealth, bringing with him over two decades of experience across banking, structured finance, alternate assets, credit solutions, and wealth management.
Prior to joining Godrej Wealth, Sumit spent more than 20 years with Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he served as Executive Vice President and played a key role in driving strategic initiatives across the credit ecosystem. During his tenure, he built deep expertise in structured funding, lending solutions, and business growth while leading high-performing teams.
Earlier in his career, Sumit held leadership roles at HDFC Bank as City Sales Manager – Personal Loans and at ICICI Bank as BSM – Home Loans, where he developed a strong foundation in retail lending and customer-centric financial solutions.
In his new role at Godrej Wealth, Sumit will focus on expanding the firm’s private credit platform, delivering innovative financing solutions, and strengthening its presence in the alternative investment and private credit landscape.
