Swapnil Ravindran has been appointed as the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) – South at HT Media Group. With over two decades of experience across print, digital, mobile, and ad-tech platforms, Swapnil brings a powerful blend of strategic vision, sales leadership, and innovation to his new role. He will be spearheading revenue growth initiatives across Hindustan Times, Hindustan Hindi, and Mint, driving the “One HT” narrative across the South region.
Prior to this, Swapnil served as Associate Vice President & Response Head – Bangalore at The Times of India (Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd.), where he successfully led high-performing teams and delivered impactful solutions to top brands. During his tenure, he championed several innovations, including AR-enabled print campaigns that combined creativity with measurable performance, strengthening TOI’s value proposition in a competitive media landscape.
Swapnil also brings rich experience from his leadership roles at InMobi, where he scaled the digital native and lock-screen advertising business as Director and Head of Sales across West & South India. His earlier stints include senior sales leadership positions at Yahoo, Zee Network, and Star India, along with a decade-long tenure at HT Media Ltd. where he rose through multiple leadership levels, contributing significantly to business growth across both print and digital.
With his deep industry knowledge and strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and startups, Swapnil has built a reputation as a forward-looking leader who thrives at the intersection of creativity, data, and trust. In his new role at HT Media Group, he will focus on accelerating revenue streams across platforms, strengthening partnerships, and driving innovation-led growth.
