Titiksh Patel steps into the role of Associate Director at AtkinsRéalis, bringing with him two decades of specialized experience in the water industry across the UK and Ireland. With a PhD in Hydraulics and a career rooted in both technical excellence and strategic delivery, he has established himself as a respected expert in wastewater infrastructure, hydraulic modelling, and drainage planning. His extensive work spans wastewater collection systems, smart networks, flood studies, flow verification, and the development of large-scale models using platforms such as InfoWorks, ICM, InfoAsset, and MapInfo.
Before taking on this new leadership position, Titiksh contributed significantly to AtkinsRéalis through progressive roles, including Senior Associate, Associate, and earlier positions within Atkins, where he spent over 11 years. During this time, he led complex hydraulic modelling assignments for major clients such as Anglian Water and Southern Water, overseeing data collection, survey planning, model build, calibration, verification, and advanced hydraulic analysis. His expertise also strengthened multiple strategic growth, feasibility, and optimisation projects that have shaped modern wastewater planning frameworks.
Titiksh’s career journey also includes impactful roles at MWH (now part of Stantec), Thames Water, and RPS Group, where he worked on growth studies, SUDS design, flooding assessments, pumping station performance evaluations, and contract administration. These experiences have cemented his capability to manage end-to-end project cycles—from initial assessments to detailed design and technical delivery. His multi-country exposure, spanning Ireland, the UK, and India, gives him a broad perspective on water management challenges and innovative infrastructural solutions.
As he takes on the Associate Director role at AtkinsRéalis, Titiksh is positioned to contribute to the organisation’s expanding capabilities in wastewater systems, resilience planning, and smart infrastructure. His strong technical background, coupled with proven leadership across cross-functional engineering teams, aligns well with AtkinsRéalis’ mission to deliver sustainable, data-driven solutions for communities across the region.
