Venkat Reddy Gogulamudi has been appointed as the new Head of Plant (HoP) at Jindal Power Limited, Tamnar. With extensive leadership experience in the power and energy sector, he brings a strong background in operational management, project execution, and strategic growth to his new role. His appointment reflects Jindal Power Limited’s focus on strengthening its leadership team to drive operational excellence.
Prior to this appointment, Venkat served as the Chief Executive Officer of Meenakshi Energy Limited under Vedanta Group, where he played a pivotal role in steering the organization through critical growth initiatives. He also held the position of Deputy CEO at Athena Chhattisgarh Power Limited, where he oversaw major projects and drove operational performance in one of India’s key power hubs.
Venkat’s professional journey includes more than six years at Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), where he held senior roles such as Chief Operating Officer – Power and Director – Power, ensuring process optimization and operational efficiency. Earlier, he served as Senior Vice President and Vice President at Vedanta Resources Limited, contributing significantly to power operations at Jharsuguda and Korba.
With proven expertise in contract negotiation, project planning, and large-scale operational leadership, Venkat has consistently delivered transformative outcomes across organizations. His appointment at Jindal Power Limited is expected to further strengthen the company’s commitment to efficiency, reliability, and sustainable growth in the power sector.
