Vikas Bhanpurkar has been appointed as Senior Vice President – Head Branch Banking at Saraswat Bank, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across branch banking, distribution, retail banking, and business growth.
Prior to joining Saraswat Bank, Vikas spent more than six years at Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, where he most recently served as National Head – Cross Sell Business, driving asset and liability growth through customer-centric banking solutions. Earlier, as Vice President & Zonal Head – West, he successfully managed various branches across the western region and led the bank’s expansion into South India with the launch of new branches. Earlier in his career, Vikas he held senior leadership roles at Lakshmi Vilas Bank, IndusInd Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, ICICI Bank, and Tata Infomedia Ltd, building extensive expertise in branch operations, sales, distribution, business development, and customer relationship management.
In his new role at Saraswat Bank, Vikas will lead the branch banking function, leveraging his proven track record in business expansion, distribution excellence, and operational leadership to strengthen the bank’s growth and customer engagement strategy.
