Yes Bank has elevated Binoj Vasu as Country Head – Business HR. With nearly three decades of experience, he has been instrumental in shaping the bank’s HR strategy. Over his two stints spanning twelve years, he has led multiple key functions, including retail banking HR, talent management, learning and development, talent engagement, and employer branding. In his most recent role as HR Head – Retail Banking & Head of Talent Management, he played a crucial part in strengthening HR frameworks across the bank.
Before rejoining Yes Bank, Binoj was the Founder and CEO of Kuotient, an EdTech platform focused on career mentoring and young talent development. He also took on consulting roles with ISDI and ISME, contributing to future-ready skills programs for students and professionals. His corporate journey includes leadership roles at Tata AIG General Insurance, Xerox, ExxonMobil, and Exide Industries, where he gained deep expertise in business HR, learning and development, and sales leadership.
Binoj holds an Executive Program in Human Resource Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, along with certifications in Human Analytics from Wharton Online and Organizational Development from Tata Institute of Social Sciences. He is also a certified leadership and transition management coach, bringing a strong analytical and strategic approach to talent development.
In his new role, Binoj will oversee HR across all business verticals, including retail banking, wholesale banking, and support functions. His expertise in building high-impact HR strategies, fostering leadership development, and driving engagement will further strengthen Yes Bank’s people-first approach, ensuring a culture of growth, learning, and innovation.
