Surya K has been appointed as Group Head – Medical Affairs and Quality at Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, marking a significant milestone in her accomplished healthcare leadership journey. In this role, she will lead medical governance, quality assurance, accreditation frameworks, and clinical excellence initiatives across the organization’s pan-India operations. Her appointment reflects her extensive expertise in healthcare quality systems, NABH and JCI accreditations, patient safety, and operational governance.
Surya brings nearly two decades of rich experience across leading healthcare institutions and consulting organizations. Prior to joining Maxivision Super Speciality Eye Hospitals, she served as Senior Quality Assurance Manager at MGM Healthcare and earlier held key leadership positions at Gleneagles Global Hospitals, MIOT International, Kauvery Hospital, Parvathy Hospital, and Dr. Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. She has also contributed as Director & Principal Consultant at QQuantum Management Services and as a Management Consultant at HOSMAC India Pvt. Ltd., driving NABH accreditation and quality transformation projects across healthcare institutions.
Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in implementing and sustaining NABH, JCI, NABL, Nursing Excellence, NABH-ER, Radiology, and Blood Bank accreditations, while leading initiatives in clinical governance, infection control, quality assurance, and operational process excellence. Her expertise also spans healthcare operations, training and development, patient safety frameworks, biomedical systems coordination, and hospital process optimization.
