Das brings with him a trailblazing record in AI media integration, having led the development of the world’s first synthetic AI news anchor under the India Today banner — a benchmark innovation in the global media landscape.
With over two decades of experience spanning global media houses, Das has played an instrumental role in elevating editorial design and visual storytelling. As Creative Director at Fortune Magazine India (2010–2016), he steered a major revamp of the magazine’s visual identity, covering design, photography, and layout. Before this, at Open Magazine, he was key to an impactful redesign that drove audience engagement and boosted sales. His global expertise includes a noteworthy tenure as Deputy Art Director at Time Magazine for its Asia and Europe editions, where he directed high-impact visual strategies and led international design teams. His creative direction won multiple accolades, including SOPA and IFRA Awards.
Das’s longstanding association with the India Today Group began in 1995 when he joined as Senior Art Director and rose to become Graphic Editor. His creative influence helped shape the visual language of the publication, blending editorial integrity with contemporary design sensibilities.
